Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

I believe the  expression is TO DROP A BOLLOCK ! I've dropped a big one.......

Every morning, first thing, I record our daily site hits and sales. I have to say since Wednesday I have been wondering what has been happening with our webcam lads as it appeared nobody was logging in to broadcast their cams. As each day went by and nobody had been on-line I became more and more worried !

Then it dawned on me, I had the webcam admin area set up wrong so each time I logged in I was getting a zero result while in fact our lads were doing their stuff every day !

Our site team member HUGH (Left) would say that was a SENIOR MOMENT.

Oh dear !

I was talking to our photographer and artist, James, yesterday. he was saying that when we meet next week he would like to spend an hour or so taking some new pictures of me to use on the site. I don't take a very good picture I am afraid so warned him he had better go out and but the latest edition of PhotoShop in order to make something good of me.

We do need some new pictures, yes.

This picture (Left) is my co-director Jo at his desk working on the site, I quite like this picture as it captures Jo very well.  It's casual and not posed. Getting something of me I fear is not going to be easy.

Last night I sat in bed watching a film on TV while spread over the covers were hundred of b its of paper as I filed all of our receipts, sales items and general accounting crap. Our business year runs from September 1st to August 31st which means our end of year is on Tuesday. Time to prepare all of the paperwork ready for the accountant to draw up the balance sheet and calculate how much tax we have to pay the government. Bugger - we could do without that ! Still we have been good boys, kept sound records and shown our bank we know what we are doing so I hope this all goes smoothly.

We are actually now in our sixth year of operation but working as a limited company is still fairly new. As the director in charge of administration it appears to me I have three roles to undertake.

1. To actually manage and publish the websites. That's what we are here for after all.

2. To run a company. OK that goes with the territory I guess, keeping records, complying with the law etc. It's a bit of work but I can live with it.

3. Running a government department to keep all the little jacks in office happy ! Now that I object to. Having to do some remote civil servant's work for him. For example managing tax and National insurance is a nightmare. Last week I had to file our annual return to Companies House, a fourteen page document giving information that was already on record. What's worse is that there was A £30 FEE TO BE PAID IN ORDER TO FILE THE FORM. Oh well, no way round it so best to grin and bear it all.

Have a good Sunday all.  I am going out for the day tomorrow - I will try to write a blog entry before I go.

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

Happy week-end everyone....................

Yesterday while I was busy working I pulled up a few different YouTube windows of music to listen to. Can I share three with you ?  Just for a bit of fun.......

The first is a 1970's number telling of the artist L S Lowry, it's a great little song but more than that I am a bit of a Lowry fan.  I have promised myself for years that one day I'll make a special trip to Manchester to spend time in the Lowry Centre.

The second comes from a decade earlier - Excerpt from A Teenage Opera by Keith West.  There never really was a teenage opera as such but I have always loved this song. You know I was a teenager myself when it was released - just 17 years old. OMG where have the years gone ?  Still have a listen - I hope you like it.

Then finally the immortal Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody. Totally unique.

I have said before on the blog that LIFE IS A DISCO SO DANCE - so it is.  this past week I have been dancing ! would you like to dance with me ?

Guess what ?  It has stopped raining !  Oh well there's a lot of jobs to do outside today. More tress to cut down. The evenings are drawing in so it's time to go round the external lights and make sure all work, re-set the timers and check the pir sensors ready for the autumn and winter. A couple more weeks and the apple tree will need harvesting.  On my fig tree there is one particular fig which is big, fat and juicy - I am waiting for it to ripen just a little more then LUSH. Walking down to the office this morning I passed the tubs where I have been growing potatoes - time I think today to harvest them

Busy day ahead !

Well enjoy the music, enjoy Guyz Studio, have a great week-end and we'll speak again tomorrow.

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

It is still piddling down with rain here in the UK - will it ever stop ?

Now I must tell you about some new pictures added to the Studio Galleries area of our site.

Click right to check it all out - there's some really funny stuff in there.

We aim to please here in Guyz Studio so have fun.

Not mega late but a little late writing the blog this morning. When I got to the PC I found a lot of e-mails on my inbox from our card processing agent recording our overnight sales, I started to enter them into the sales log but while I was doing that others kept popping in.  NICE PROBLEM TO HAVE don't you think.

to all who have supported us like this, particularly to the friend in Australia who has just purchased FOUR video downloads.

We need our sales for site memberships, phone lines, video and audio downloads and webcams to keep our free website areas running.

The adult entertainment industry is going through some very tough times, only yesterday I heard of a medium to large player going bust. More will follow, that's for certain. But I get a buzz, a bit of excitement if you like - we are ahead of the trend. Yeh we have to work hard for every penny we make but compared to most publishers we are doing very well.

Your support is so much appreciated.

We are now in our sixth year of operation and our business model makes it impossible for us to go bust. I won't go into detail but it's a fact.

So what am I up to today ?

I want to add a couple of stories to the library, add at least one new gallery to STUDIO GALLERIES and do a bit more video editing.  I was working on some video pages earlier in the week but somewhere in the coding I have made a stupid error. No matter how hard I looked I just could not find what was wrong so leaving it for a few days I hope I can now go back today and see what the error is.  If not then it's a case of starting all over again.

We have a photoshoot two weeks on Sunday so I guess I need to put a bit of work into that today.

Do have a look at those fun pictures I added yesterday.

Have a good one.

Speak to you tomorrow.

Fantastic new FUN gallery added to STUDIO GALLERIES

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

It has been a few weeks since I had a bit of a blast here on the blog - a time where I have sounded off about those who have frustrated and angered me. Well stand by as here we go !

NUMBER ONE:

I went yesterday into my local branch of Nationwide where I have had an account since 1972. I asked for a simple service which I have used on and of over the years. Guess what ? They wanted to charge me £10 for the service which previously was free. Let me make something clear - it was MY money involved, I was not asking to borrow any money but simply to do something with MY MONEY. I was outraged at the impertinence of it and made my feelings very clear to the branch Customer Service Manager.  Customer service ? Nationwide you do not have a clue what customer service is!  Nationwide Proud to be different - what a joke. You are a thieving, scumbag bank just like all the rest.  Nationwide used to have a slogan  We never forget whose money it is....................you forgot years ago !

NUMBER TWO: There is an old fashioned expression here in England JACK IN OFFICE.  It refers to a self-opinionated person, usually a state employee or official, who is full of their own importance yet totally incompetent.   I met one of them yesterday !  After being held on the phone for ages listening to Mozart punctuated by the odd announcement that my call was important and would be answered some time before the next millennium I eventually got to speak to some stony-faced old cow. No I could not see this person's face or demeanor but trust me, from the way I was spoken to I know it was a stony faced cow - a real self-opinionated Jack In Office.  Eventually my business was transacted but I woke up in the middle of the night to realise this stupid woman had made a hideous mistake. I have now got to call again, listen to Mozart etc then try to get the error put right.  If I had not realised the mistake I would next week have wasted an entire day and the costs of traveling to another part of the country only to find when I got there my meeting could not happen.

NUMBER THREE: Our website is owned and managed by a limited company - G S Media Limited. as such we are bound by an ever increasing mountain of red tape and government beaurocracy.  Yesterday I posted to the body which regulates companies in the UK our annual return.  This is a simple statement of who the share holders and directors are - simple yes but it takes FOURTEEN pages to supply the information. Fourteen pages to supply information these jacks in office already have !  Wait for it the best is yet to come.............. There is a £30 fee to file the form.  Unbelievable isn't it ?

There are some people who are a total waste of the space they occupy on this planet - yesterday I had more than my fair share of them !

Phew............

I feel better for that !

The three movies shot at Spankathon are now available to those who came along and also in the members areas of Guytzspank and Adult Schoolboys.

Details of the next Spankathon meeting to be held on Friday 19th November are now on-line. Click the picture on the right to find out more.

I have introduced a system where the earlier you book the lower the ticket price. Right now you can come to Spankathon for only £15.  This includes a buffet and drinks, watching us film three movies and. receiving complimentary copies of the videos when edited.

When you were at school did you ever have a photograph taken like this ?

A panoramic pictures where the assembled boys were arranged in a semi-circle and the camera moved round to capture everyone in a long line ? Later today I will be adding this to the iconic schoolboy memories within Adult Schoolboys. Click the picture on the right to see what is already there and to add your own recollections.

Talking of icons...................

Our artist JAMES and I are working to completely change our ARTIST IN RESIDENCE area to ICONIC GUYZ. James and I are meeting next week to finalise things then is should be live and on-line by September 3rd.

This will feature the paintings James does of our models - left is Dale who was one of the stars in the recent Spankathon and whose pictures adorn the Spankathon banner above.

Once finished you will be able to purchase from Iconic Guyz some original art work and prints.

I am proud of what we do here in Guyz Studio. At the moment it's me working here full-time each day with James and Hugh doing their bit from their homes.  My co-director Joseph is away until early October. We are a small team, there are simply not enough hours in a day to do anything like what we want to do but we don't do a bad job if I may say so myself.

Nationwide has a staff of thousands yet can not get it right.

I said to the so called customer service manager at Nationwide I would be ashamed if I ran my business they way they run theirs. She countered my statement by saying she was proud to work for Nationwide. Takes all kinds doesn't it.

...............have a good day all.  Speak again tomorrow.

Angel added to STUDIO GALLERIES  Two new movies in both GUYZSPANK and ADULT SCHOOLBOYS

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago I was writing on the blog how I just knew something special was about to happen.  I had a feeling in my bones, an extra sensory perception if you like that something exceptional was slowly moving my way. No I do not mean fairies at the bottom of my garden or something out of the X Files but I just knew destiny was plotting to hand me if not the ace of trumps then at least a high card.

WELL IT HAS HAPPENED !

I am not going to publish to the world my personal affairs but do want to share a moment of positivity. I'm not sure there is actually such a word as that but you know what I mean.

Yesterday as we were driving to London James had a book with him called THE SECRET - all about self motivation, believe and taking what is good while leaving the rubbish aside.

I checked this SECRET out and found the book has a website - click the picture above left and see what you think. Life is too short and the world too small for negativity. Yep life is good !

Yesterday TWO new galleries were added to Studio galleries - Emanuel and Jo.  Click the thumbnails below to check them out.

Our FREE Studio Gallery collection is certainly building up. There are now 973 images on-line with more being added every day.

I was up at the absolute crack of dawn this morning working on our SPANKATHON area. I have a bit more to do as soon as I have finished writing the blog. All the pics and vids from August are there, then before the end of the day you will be able to bok your place for the next party in November.

I tell you I had such an amazing day yesterday, edited all the video from the August party, just have to link it into the site today and make it all live.

Yep some amazing things are certainly happening here on Guyz Studio. I really, really hope you enjoy our websites - why not click the survey link and give us some feedback. Go on we would love to hear from you.

EMANUEL added to Studio Galleries

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

Do you know who Saint Sebastian was ?

Have you ever seen  the movie telling of the saint's life ?

The YouTube player above depicts one scene from this epic. Have a look.

The picture above left is titled NOT SEBASTIAN and was one of the art works James and I saw when we visited Adonis Art in London yesterday. That's the title of the work - Not Sebastian.

The artist was featured in a special exhibition at Adonis and I have to say I fell in love with is work.

Unfortunately my budget would not extend to my owning this work of art - priced at £1,250 but I do have to say I loved so much of what I saw at Adonis.

I tried to explain to the gallery owner, left, that while I am not an artist in any way and sadly am not an art collector I have the eye of an average customer which, if this does not make me sound like an un educated philistine, I kow what I like and what pleases me.

I have always been interested in Saint Sebastain so when I saw this particular work in the exhibition I wanted to own it.

But James and I did not make the long trip into London for me to drool over paintings in the gallery, we went to look at ways we can market work by James who is, of course, our site's Artist in Residence. We came away with some sound ideas and a lot of work to do.

If I may share a little of this.

We are going to rebrand ARTIST IN RESIDENCE to ICONIC GUYZ BY JAMES ASHFIELD and put up a special gallery of his paintings in to our Guyzpix website.

You will then be able to easily view all of James's work in one central place as well as being able to actually own either an original painting or a limited print. James is a fantastic friend both on a personal level and also to our website operation, he is our site photographer who gives freely of his time, efforts and expertise. he is not paid for what he does, quite simply we do not have the money for that, so I am anxious he gets something back for his generosity. Selling his paintings via our website would be a way of doing this.

Lots of new updates will be happening today so come back and check this area for the latest news

I woke up last night to the hammering sound of the rain outside. It's stopped now but OMG what a downpour. Typical English summer. When I was a kid everyone used to blame the poor weather on testing nuclear weapons, today we talk about global warming - I bet in the old days the cavemen blamed it on the bows and arrows

In half an hour or so I'm off to meet our studio artist, James, then head down to London for his meeting at the Adonis Art Gallery. Fingers crossed - I'll tell you tomorrow how we got on.

Yesterday evening I spent an hour sorting my "doings list" and schedule for all I want to achieve this coming week. A bit scary actually as some of the days extend to TWO pages. There is so  much always to be done.

We have some exciting things happening over the last few months of 2010, let me keep you in suspense for a little while but trust me you will be amazed at what you will see.

I was checking the Google Analytics stats yesterday, we use Google to track our visitor profile - don't worry Google can not spy into your computer, just where the hits are coming from. We are now up to 140 different countries of the world using our websites. That really is amazing isn't it ? Even the multi nationals like BP and IBM do not operate in 140 different countries of the world.

Can I tempt you to click the button on the right, fill in our survey and help us develop Guyz Studio to the point where we can bring in even more new and exciting areas of fun. Go on don't be shy, give it a click.

One week today and it's August Bank Holiday, a three-day week-end and public holiday. The last one until Christmas.  I find it so scary just how quickly 2010 has raced by.

Right, I must stop writing.  Time to get in the car and head to pick up James for the meeting at Adonis.  Speak again tomorrow.
