 Monday
means a new blog sponsor for the
week. I am pleased ton say that

am also bringing back an old
feature from the blog which we
dropped a while ago - MODEL OF
THE WEEK. I
am starting off with WOLF as our
chosen morel for this week. But
more that anjd Wolf in a moment. I
want to say a BIG THANK YOU to
you and to all of our blog
readers. As
you may know one of my personal
targets for 2012 is to get our
blog readership up to 1,000 each
week. Last
Monday we had 122 readers then
on Tuesday 118. Wednesday saw 97
then Thursday 113 and Friday
103. Over the week-end we had
116 then yesterday 142. That's
a total of 813. 81% towards my
target in the first full week of
the year.  Didn't
I do well ?
But
no time to sing my own praises,
I have not reached the
all-important 1,000 even if I do
have 51 weeks of the year in
which to find the remaining 19%. One
of the unsung heroes of Guyz
Studio is Tony, who  each
and every week keeps a ver
careful eye on our visitor
profile and hut rates. His
end of week report showed an
increase of 1,399 new friends.
In one are there was such a
surge he went back to check he
had not made a mistake. THANK
YOU Tony for your diligent hard
work which enables us to plan
how we operate our publications.  EVERYTHING
in life is down to two factors -
NUMBERS and TIME.
If
you were hard up and had no
money, if you went and kocked on
a random front door and when it
was opened explained you plight
then asked if the householder
would give you £1 you would
probably be told to piss off. If
you knocked on 100 doors among
that number the chances are you
would find one person who would
hand over the money. Knock
on 1,000 doors and you would
make £10. Knock
on 10,000 and you have £100. Knock
on 100,000 and you have £1,000 Knock
on a million front doors and you
will have made £10,000.
NICE ONE.  But
how long will it take you to
knock on a million front doors ?
A lifetime.
It
aint going to happen is it ? But
in the cyberspace of the
Internet there are millions upon
millions of people surfing
about, the trick is to get them
to come to your little corner of
the Net and see what you are
saying. The
general maxim for Internet
marketing is that one person in
a hundred will buy and on his
fifth visit to the site. That
means you need 500 visitors to
achieve one activity. I would
add a rider that the five visits
need to be as cose together as
possible. Nothing is going to
happen if they are spaced out
over the course of weeks and
months. To
increase our success I am trying
to find people for TWO
things......... Firstly
I am trying to find new models
to become a part of Guyz Studio. Then
I want to find new friends and
site visitors to take an
interest in those models. Last
week I spent time sending out
about 6,00 messages to potential
models - trying to recruit them.
Tony's stats report shows
that two hundred and
twenty eight of them clicked
through to look at our model
recruiting page. From them
something like six got back to
me saying they were interested
in working with us. BUT only one
actually registered to
broadcast.  A
bit disappointing in a way but
the maxim of 1 in 100 and then
on the 5th visit was not all
that far out.
This
week I will continue my efforts,
once I have finished writing the
bloh then answered all of the
messages and e-mails I will
return to my recruiting efforts. It's
all a question of numbers and
time. And
