I
have very carefully planned Christmas
this year, too often it can
become a giant
anti-climax so I have organised
something special every day
starting this coming Wednesday
when Joe and I will be going out
for lunch.
We
are both looking forward to
this, enjoying some good food
and having a planning session to
discuss all our plans for Guyz
Studio over the course of 2012.
Over
the week-end I put up the
Christmas lights on the house,
not a job I particularly enjoy -
climbing up ladders in the
freezing cold !
Only
one job I dislike more and
that's taking them down again in
January LOL !
Two
Christmases ago, that would have
been 2009, we made a silly and

week was an amazing week for our webcam model
Jack
Wood who last week appeared in the TOP 3% of all

Some
of our longer suffering
blog readers will know
as a hobby I keep
chickens in the
garden. I have not
spoken about my
"girls" for a
while and friends have
been asking if the fox
has got them all. NO -
god forbid - so here's a
bit of news........
My
girls are not liking the
cold weather, egg laying
is down to an average of
six a day. Six eggs from
15 birds ! Expensive ! Lol
- I have worked it out at
about £1.50 an egg. Still
it's a hobby.
Eight
of my girls are rescue
hens from a battery farm.
When they reach eighteen
months of age they have to
find new homes or are sold
off for pet food.
Left
is a former caged battery hen which I names
DAISY. When she came to live in my garden in
September she was a scraggy creature, her neck
was void of feathers where she had been poking
her head through the cage to peck at food, she
had a bald head and walked with a heavy
limp. I did not expect her to survive for
long. Daisy, or as I call her DISABLED DAISY.
I really must
take a picture of her now, no she did not
die. She is a plump bird with rich brown
feathers all over. Yes she still has a limp and
hobbles about the garden. I would say pf my
fifteen chickens Daisy is my favorite, I admire
her - her pluck and to win against all odds.
I have said it
before, humans could take a lesson from Daisy.
