We have known Mick for a few years now, he is a great photographer and a real gentleman.  Models feel at ease with him and they like his work.

There is considerable interest among models on Guyz Studio Boyz with more and more lads wanting to be featured.
Mick has put together a few notes simply explaining how this project works.  Although featured extensively within Guyz Studio Boyz it is not a Guyz Websites project but that of canveymick.  Guyz Sites takes no share of the money nade at all.  From our perspective it is another feature our models can be involved in to make money and a way we can say "Thank you" to Mick for the help and support he gives to out site.  So let's hand over to Mick and he'll tell you all about it.

 

I've been selling some of my prints on eBay and although its not going to make me rich, it does give me a  few extra quid to play with each month.

 

Sales are very hit and miss, you never know what's going to sell and when, but I think by having more variety it will push up the sales. Been testing some novelty items like fridge magnets and greetings cards. So far, everything I listed on those products has sold. Not mega bucks as they only sell for a few quid each, but if its constant then who knows what might be earned. Got some mugs and mousemats to test out in January. Also looking to add a few more underwear/jock pics to the repertoire.

 

The model works on a 50/50 profit sharing basis. This does involve trust on behalf of the model, but being on eBay, its easy to track everything I list. And besides, there's no point trying to mug people off, cos if word got round, I wouldn't get any new models.

 

My production costs at the moment are quite low as I work in the photographic industry and this help that makes it worth my while. If I had to pay full price for the prints, it probably wouldn't be worth it.

 

I have an idea to also shoot a few more explicit shots as I get lots of customers that buy prints and then ask if there are any more adult images. I think this could be an earner but I wouldn't be able to do it through eBay as I have enough hassle just listing the images that are tame! I'm thinking of doing this through my website and Guyz Sites. Theres also a site I've discovered  where I could list more explicit images as well as on my own website. I'm currently looking into this at the moment.

 

 

I'd also like to do some duo/group shots of the male nude for eBay as I think these will sell. They would have to be non-erotic i.e just 2 guys naked together. Not sure how much I could get away with on eBay! Plus outdoor shots when the weather improves.

 

For an idea on sales, I have had £400 of sales in the last 5 weeks. Obviously, the images were of different guys, but gives you an idea of potential.
